Third Tier is the name we utilize for customers who do not have direct accounts with manufacturers and who purchase their goods from cash and carry’s / independent traders.
They go by various names; Informal Retail, Spaza Traders, Tuck Shops, Hawkers or Mom and Pop Stores.
There are an estimated 100 000 Third Tier stores Nationally, with approximately 50 000 in our region.
Supermarkets, Tuck Shops, Spaza Shops & Hawker Trade.
Currently service 560 Stores.
Category A,B,C classification (A: Fortnightly, B & C: Monthly).
Order book, POS, Merchandising, Ranging & Specials.
In-store consumer competitions are a great way to gain awareness and excitement in-store. These can be small prizes - Buy and stand a chance to win.
These stores are a great way to gain brand awareness either through permanent signage or complete painting (branding).
